Problem clarity

Technical Co-Founder Opportunities
We selectively work with founders, teams and businesses that need more than a development supplier. The right relationship may combine technical leadership, product delivery, paid development, advisory participation and equity.
Who can apply
You may be exploring an early-stage idea, validating a product, growing an existing venture or launching something new from an established organisation. You do not need a registered company or technical background before applying.
We only consider lawful opportunities that meet our ethical and reputational standards.
What strengthens an application
We want enough evidence to assess fit without asking you to disclose trade secrets or commission unpaid strategy.
Who experiences the problem, why it matters and how they deal with it today.
Customer conversations, market knowledge, industry relationships or other useful evidence.
A prototype, users, customers or revenue can help, but pre-revenue opportunities remain welcome.
Your ongoing role in validation, customers, commercial direction, funding or delivery.
What you need EngageMinty to contribute and what resources are currently available.
Open communication, workable time zones and willingness to formalise responsibilities.
Founder contribution
Ideally, founders remain involved in customer understanding, validation, business decisions and commercial direction. Technical expertise is not required.
A lower-involvement founder may still be considered, but ownership and economics should reflect the contribution and risk taken by each party.
Partnership structure
Paid, equity, advisory and blended arrangements may be considered. A founder or business may fund more development while EngageMinty takes a smaller strategic or advisory interest.
No equity, ownership or Technical Co-Founder relationship exists until discovery, due diligence and signed legal agreements are complete.
How it begins
Share a concise, non-confidential overview, your progress and the contribution you expect from each side.
Every application is reviewed by EngageMinty. We normally reply by email, telephone or WhatsApp within 10 working days.
Suitable applicants are personally invited to a free conversation. There is no automatic calendar booking after submission.
Substantial validation, product definition and technical assessment are normally paid. Any scope and commercial basis are agreed before work starts.
Initial-fit application
Please do not submit trade secrets, source code or confidential technical information. If an opportunity progresses, confidentiality arrangements can be considered before sensitive details are shared.
You retain ownership of the materials and intellectual property you bring to the application. Ownership and usage rights for anything later created with EngageMinty will be defined in writing before substantive work begins.
Choose the right relationship
For an ongoing commercial relationship without equity, explore the technology partner route. For one defined application, portal or integration, start with custom software development and Technology Discovery.
See a working technology and growth relationship in the JobBruck case study. These routes remain separate from the selective Technical Co-Founder application.
