Managed website hosting and care after launch.

Choose managed hosting for the technical essentials, or add a bounded monthly allowance for routine minor changes and regular checks.

A live website still needs a clear technical owner.

Managed hosting covers the agreed technical footing for the website. Website Care adds small accountable changes and a defined review rhythm.

Domains, email, third-party services and custom components may have separate owners; care does not turn every future request into included work.

Keep watch, keep current and make bounded changes.

A practical stewardship record separates recurring operations from claims nobody can responsibly make.

  1. Keep watch

SSL, daily backups, uptime/security monitoring and basic performance monitoring can surface matters for assessment.

  2. Keep current

Apply WordPress, core and plugin updates where applicable and compatible.

  3. Assess the route

Distinguish a hosting fault, suitable care task, third-party issue or separate project.

  4. Make a bounded change

Website Care can use its monthly hour for suitable minor changes.

  5. Report the next step

Monthly checks and quarterly summaries identify observations without promising every latent issue will be found.

Choose the care level that matches the work.

Both routes have explicit operational boundaries.

Website Care

Hosting plus up to one managed hour monthly, health checks, broken-link monitoring, basic speed/security review, priority support and a quarterly summary.

Keep routine care separate from a new website project.

The managed hour includes communication, investigation, implementation and testing. It resets monthly and does not roll over.

  • New pages, redesigns, copywriting, SEO, complex recovery and development need separate assessment.
  • Domains, email hosting, premium licences and third-party charges are separate unless explicitly agreed.
  • Monitoring and backups support responsible operation; they do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, security or recovery.

Hosting and website-care questions

Is hosting included with a website build?

The first 12 months of standard hosting are included with qualifying fixed website, landing-page and funnel builds. Thereafter managed hosting is £360/year or £39/month.

What does Managed Website Hosting include?

Managed hosting, SSL, daily backups, uptime/security monitoring, compatible WordPress updates, basic performance monitoring and support for hosting faults.

What is included in Website Care?

For £99/month it includes managed hosting, up to one managed hour, monthly health checks, broken-link monitoring, a basic speed/security review, priority support and a quarterly summary.

What counts as a minor content change?

A small bounded update to existing approved copy, images, links, contact details, opening times or similar existing elements, subject to time and technical context.

Are domains and email hosting included?

No, unless explicitly included in an agreed proposal. Relevant licences and third-party services are also separate.

Can Website Care fix any website problem?

No. It is not unlimited repair, emergency recovery, a security guarantee or a development retainer. Wider work is assessed and scoped separately.

Choose responsible care without vague promises.

We will confirm the website, current arrangement, access and requested level of care before recommending the appropriate route.
